Machine Operator

The Position:

We’re looking for Machine Operators for our First, Second, and Third shifts.


First Shift hours are 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday

Second Shift hours are 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday

Third Shift hours are 10pm-6am, Monday-Friday


The pay starts at $18 an hour but is based on experience, plus a 5% shift premium for second shift and a 7% shift premium for third shift.

Successful applicants can use this as a launching pad towards a future in CNC, Automatic Screw Machine, Maintenance, or even Supervisory positions.

Responsibilities:

· Operate machines including but not limited to 2-3 axis CNC equipment and Screw machines.

· Operate machinery following all safety guidelines.

· Assist other workers as necessary.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.


Qualifications:

· Effective communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and to exercise judgement when required

· Basic math skills

· Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

· At least one year of experience in manufacturing a plus but if you are willing to learn, we are willing to train!

· Ability to work overtime when needed


Physical Demands:

Normal manufacturing plant environment which may include exposure to dust, industrial solvents, liquids, and other materials. The working environment can extend to both hot and cold conditions. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards. Job includes tasks that require standing, bending, lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs., twisting, gripping, and maybe some stair climbing.
